About
KARLADAM ENTERTAINMENT
KarlAdam Entertainment is all about the key word in their company title; Entertainment. There are millions of film production companies in this world and all of them have their own criteria and structured game plan. For Derek K. Milton and Joe S. Bring, the partners and founders of KarlAdam Entertainment, the rule of true film entertainment is paramount to them.
Milton, who has been a devoted, focused and accomplished screenwriter for over 35 years, has stockpiled a closet full of his screenplays that he and Bring have customed into a careful stack for execution. Beginning with the time travel Christmas story, “The Scorpion’s Kiss“, they then plan to move quickly into the fantasy adventure, “Wishfinder”, then into the supernatural western, “Death Keeps Coming“. The bottom line is, Milton and Bring intend to bring audiences everywhere into journeys of eye popping excitement, tales of adventure and imagination that are filled with deep, heart felt emotion – the essence of what, in Milton’s own words, is what entertainment is all about.
Milton is as passionate a director that one could ever find in the industry. He’s devoted to his craft, a true visionary and is adamant about forming the best possible ‘film family’ that he can create with every production – to a level that when the film wraps, all involved want to work together again as soon as possible. In his own mind, everyone on set is a valuable piece of the same enormous puzzle and without one another, the project will never get made to the level it needs to be. Milton is a firm believer of injecting excitement into everyone involved, whether in front of or behind the camera.
A Milton quote; “Everyone has a job to do and if they are thrilled about coming to set each day, their best work will come forward. It is my job to inspire them and in the end, see to it that is precisely what happens.”
For Derek K. Milton and Joe S. Bring, making movies that people want to go and see after a hard day’s work is precisely what they want to have happen. They want to entertain to a level that when audiences sees a preview of the next KarlAdam production, they will flock to the theater for no other reason that they know for a fact that they will be… entertained.
