Death Keeps Coming

Death Keeps Coming Comments Off

Sara Bain finally found the man of her dreams. Handsome rancher Brian Taylor, on a stormy, rain filled night, had popped the question and asked Sara to be his wife. She accepted with great joy. Unfortunately for Sara, Brian wasn’t the only man who was interested in having her to himself. Zoltan Maas, the overzealous member of a mysterious gypsy family, had proclaimed that Sara was his ‘property’, despite Sara’s constant rebuttal. She made it clear to Zoltan, time and time again, that she would never feel anything for him and that his advances were all in vain – and that she was in love with someone else. Zoltan didn’t listen and upon unwelcome witness to Sara’s acceptance to Brian’s proposal, Zoltan was furious. He barged in on their private affair and without hesitation, shot Brian dead. However, Zoltan’s moment of victory was cut short as Sara shot him in return, killing him instantly.

The gypsy family that Zoltan left behind did not take his death lightly. The leader and matriarch of the family, Avgen Maas, was a practitioner of the black arts and drummed up the darkest of spells in order to place a hideous curse upon Sara. From the moment the curse was executed, Sara’s peaceful life was over. Not only did she lose the man of her dreams, but the dark curse placed her in a life of painful solitude. For as the curse was written, any child’s eyes who would meet hers would not see Sara but instead a beast from the bowels of hell. Any woman’s eyes who met hers would be driven by unbridled rage to kill her. Any man’s eyes who would meet hers would be driven into a sexual frenzy and would take by force what is forbidden, followed by them taking her life in a savage way. Then, upon Sara’s life ending, the spirit Death would rise in her place and brutally take the lives who took hers. When the final victim had been taken, Sara would rise once again to live with the knowledge of what had happened – and the many lives that had been lost because of her.

The curse left Sara feeling frantic and alone. Unable to live and unable to die, she was forced to roam on the outskirts of civilization, desperately fearful that anyone would cross her path and fall prey to the dreaded curse. She was without answers and unable to locate the family that had placed the dark curse upon her due to them vanishing without a trace. She was lost in a world of depression and void of any hope.

One dark night after yet another episode of the curse executing its power, several men lay dead in its wake. Sara fell to the lowest levels of anguish and screamed at the heavens for anyone or anything to help her. The heavens heard her plea for out of the desert came a lone rider – a gunfighter with a shadowed past that would ride into Sara’s life and not only help her with the horrible curse that hovered over her life, but to face that darkest of demons that was there to honor the curse – the spirit Death.
